Send In The KKKlowns

Okay guys, the thing is that I’m currently working on the final design for the BATMAN:golgothik’s Joker. And I’m still not sure which is the best. Therefor, I’ve got a special gift for my dear readers tonight! Not one, but two original Joker drawings, freshly baked in the batpawn’s a(u)rtistic kitchen. So, who is it going to be? Mister ‘Glamourface McFetish’ Clown, or Aleister Clowney? You choose!

Did you notice something? Take a look at the panels. I’ve uploaded more than 140 new Superman images. I wonder always how many masterpieces are there… in the world wide web.

Do you remember? I’d promised to scan some panels – just for you! Today I break the first ground. Now. Admittedly, it’s not Superman: For Tomorrow but rather Superman: Red Son… even though it’s more than cool!
Let’s start with the „Anarchy in Black“:

During the past few weeks I’ve done three photoshop works for the incredible Brenkster Tools. The first one was originally a film poster of a 70s porno movie, which is called Hungy Mouth.
“
Iconic” is the appropriate word, but take a look at what I’ve tinkered in my chamber of creativity!
Another idea was to create a frontcover for the imaginary (as yet!) Brenkster Tools magazine, with a summary of all our recent blog posts – in a gossip manner. But on a high level, with all that goes with it, covergirls and all the shit.
Here is my first draft, even if I don’t like it. It’s definitely NOT brenkster. Yeah, brenkster is an adjective.
I love my second try as much more, it appeales so much minimalist, sophisticated and smoothing. Totally brenkster!
If it’s going well I’ll try to do such things regularly. Oh, and remember: all these works will be published on Flickr!

Yo! I’ve just finished reading the two volumes of “Superman: For Tomorrow”, the Brian Azzarello/Jim Lee work. Wohohoho!!! It’s another masterpiece, both the story and the artworks. The Brenkster Tools exclusive “Superman: For Tomorrow” review is written already – in my mind. Stay tuned!
Anyway, there are plenty pages I’ve got to scan and enrich our panels with them. I’ll do it as soon as I can, promised!
To see what’s awaiting you, here’s a short “pre-taste”. That’s the cover for Superman #212:
I’m going to upload a bigger version soon, maybe in wallpaper-sizes. Awesome, isn’t it?

new youtube video
by postu | | October 11th, 2009 | postu, tools, videos
Due to my excitement for the new Batman-game „Arkham Asylum“, especially for the well done battle system, I thought I could do a video again. So I thrashed some Lunatics yesterday and put the stuff together with iMovie.
Arrr, it was awful. The raw material was about 16 gb. First, I had to change it to a suitable iMovie-format. Okay. It took approximately half an hour until I found the right converter for my .avi-files. At the second, a couple of cutting and editing hours later, I made the decision to upload it directly from iMovie to YouTube. There’s a handy function…
Estimated time: less than 1 hour.

Whatever, there was nothing to do for me anyway. In the meantime I did the challenge mode and beat up some poor Joker henchmen again. Hahah.
And then! Almost 60 minutes later, I got an „communication error“. Please try again. PLEASE TRY AGAIN!! Guys, it was about 2:00 am. I took the conventional way on youtube.com, just 1:15 h wait. To hell with it!
At 3:00 am everything was done. My video was online and everything was fine.
Hope you like it!
